MACsec & Key Agreement
MACsec stands for Media Access Control Security and is a standard to secure point-to-point network communication on the data data link layer (Layer 2) of the OSI 7 layer model. MACsec was introduced with the IEEE 802.1AE standard.
MACsec Key Agreement (MKA) and Extensible Authentication Protocol–Transport Layer Security (EAP-TLS) are essential for the use of Ethernet-based MACsec data connection security.
Our services
- Development of MACsec concepts based on MKA/EAP-TLS and pre-shared keys
- Implementation of MACsec concept into target platforms
- Setup MACsec-based PoC by supporting MKA and EAP to avoid pre-shared keys
- Create a MACsec/EAP concept for each node
- Create a MACsec/EAP concept to connect different Ethernet nodes securely
- Implement MKA and EAP based MACsec concept
- Setup PKI certificate infrastructure
